Welcome to wetlime!
This site has undergone many changes over
the years as our business has moved in different directions. It
started out as a place for local bands to get their music heard,
eventually became more focused on web design and photography, and now?
Now it's gotten rather dusty as our creative group has moved to the
marketing end of the internet business, trading Photoshop for search
engine optimization and indie music for keyword analysis. |

What's a wet lime?Honestly, I have no idea. Back in 2002, we were trying to come up with a funky name for our music website and it seemed like everything we tried had already been taken. A bunch of randomly generated adjective + noun phrases later and "wetlime" sounded good. We may have been really tired at the time. So who are you guys?Wetlime is now run by Kris, the WebmasterChick herself and JohnnyT, a hardware and support specialist. What can you do for me?Our forte is analyzing online businesses from the ground up. What does your website say about your company? How about your logo? What's your overall brand concept and are you carrying that out? We don't believe that websites need to be flashy or complicated to get the job done, but you do need to know what job you want your site to do for you on a page by page basis. If you know you only have 5 seconds to capture a visitor's attention, what's the most important thing you want them to see? To do? For some sites this is clicking on a banner that sends them directly to a commission sales page. For some sites it's inputting their email address to sign up for a mailing list. Whatever it is you want your visitors to do, we can help refine your site so you'll see a measurable increase in visitor response. You do have a stats program set up to track your site's successfulness, right? No? We can help with that too. So does that mean you won't design a site for me?We've been designing and maintaining websites since 1999, however this is not the main focus of our business these days. Web design standards change constantly as new browsers are put out and though we've got plenty of design experience, we generally recommend working with a design company who specializes in simple, easy to update sites that you'll feel confident maintaining on your own after the site is initially set up. That being said, yes. If you really want us to. Personal Projects:
